Great camping options are scattered around the Summersville Lake for tent and RV sites. The beautiful sandstone cliffs and Appalachian Mountains offer breathtaking views. There are plenty of shade trees and open beach areas in the campgrounds around Lake Summersville with picnic tables, fire pits, and grills. Campers may only use down and dead wood at their camp sites, or bring campfire wood with them.
